Mandy Lost Her Best Friend

Little eight year old Mandy who is on the spectrum, lost her trusted friend and family member, her dog Maple, to a BC SPCA police seizure and Maple was then sold to a stranger leaving Mandy severely depressed and distraught.

Mandy's mom says even time doesn't erase her daughter's grief over loosing the little dog she raised. You can help Mandy by emailing the provincial government to step in.

Rachel will never see Simba again

Rachel Sinclair lost her beloved wanted cat of many years to the BC SPCA who took the cat in and sold the cat. “I’ve had Simba since the day he was born, literally the day he was born,” said Simba’s original owner, Rachel Sinclair. “He’s our dog’s siblings, he’s my best friend, he’s our family member.” Rachel tried to get help with finding the family that has Simba however the BC SPCA contract may be a reason preventing the new owner from coming forward.

Felicia lost her little pony while in veterinary care

Felicia Allen had her therapy pony, raised by her for eleven years, seized and euthanized while under veterinary care. "Their complete lack of empathy is appalling," said Felicia while grieving her loss. Felicia decided to start a constitutional challenge under section 7 of the Canadian Charter Of Rights and Freedoms against B.C. Attorney General Niki Sharma. "In my view Niki Sharma's track record on behalf of the public is spotty at best so it's no surprise that she couldn't care less. She helped loose property rights and now it's what should be viewed as sacred, a person who seeks veterinary care for a sick or injured animal. You can end up in jail for that, people have no idea." said Felicia.

Marcie Moriarity, Police Chief, BC SPCA under investigation

The RCMP have started an investigation of Marcie Moriarity's involvement as a lawyer and Chief with the wording of veterinary reports submitted as evidence in BC SPCA Crown referrals for prosecutions. A spokesperson for the BC SPGA said, "Surrey Police Service (SPS) Chief Constable Norm Lipinski was abruptly fired without cause on June 1, 2026. A BC SPCA police chief is under police investigation and the mainstream media refuse to let the public know."

Currently, the BC SPCA police operate with significant authority, often acting as investigator, prosecutor, and even adjudicator in cases involving alleged animal neglect or cruelty. This concentration of power, without robust independent oversight, raises critical questions about potential biases, procedural fairness, and the impact on the lives of ordinary citizens and their animal companions.

We urge all concerned citizens, animal guardians, and stakeholders to support the formation of this vital task force.
